Prayer for a Sound Mind:


Dear God, Please Give me discernment to know your Voice and Silence all lies from the enemy.


I Pray for a Hedge of protection over my mind. Any thoughts that are not from You God, I command them to leave now in the name of Jesus.


Lies are not welcome here anymore and they have no authority over my mind and emotions. 


Lord, you said I have the mind of Christ. Thank you for renewing my mind each day. 


As I study your Word, lead me and teach me to have a better understanding of your Truth, who you are, and who You say I am.


Thank you for filling my mind with whatever is pure, lovely,  of good report, and praiseworthy. 


Thank you for your thoughts of Goodness, peace and hope for my Future.

I know that God is happy when I am happy. 


I know I that God wants me to be happy all of my life.


I am most happy when I am doing something that I love to do.


I am happy when I am having FUN.


Today, I promise myself that I will find something that I love to do and I will do it just for the fun of it.


I am so grateful that I can give myself permission to have fun. 


And so I will!

Life is a game that is ment to be FUN.


There is always time for having FUN.


FUN is the demonstration of the belief in Joy.

Trusting God with Every Breath | March 17 | Day 14/40 | Prickles | Proverbs 14:29 | 


Proverbs 14:29 - “Whoever is slow to Anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.”


How often do your prickles erupt? Once in a while? When Life gets to the pot? You’ve finally had enough? Or too, too often?


Prickles are easy to Spot. In fact, one can feel them rising to the surface. They’re ugly and painful to others and, frankly to yourself as well.


They put a barrier between you and the world. It’s normal to get upset just make sure your actions are godly.


Treat little annoyances like water off a duck’s back. They simply don’t move you. And when your children need your quick, firm stand, be like a gentle bear they cannot move.


If instead you react to life as someone who quickly sprays quills, you’ll be one of “Those” people.


People who need lots of space for whatever mood they happen to jump into. 


And you don’t want that. It is so unpredictable. 


People fear porcupines because their prickles can erupt in an instant. Don’t be prickly. Be a quiet, gentle giant, standing firm when you must, predictable to life. 


You can’t often control your circumstances, but you can always control your reaction.


What situations cause your prickles to erupt? How can you keep them away today?
