GraceRootedMe | Day 16/40 | Anxious no More | 1 Peter 5:7 | 1 Peter 5:10-11 |
GraceRootedMe | Day 16/40 | Anxious into Peace with Jesus | 1 Peter 5:7 |
1Peter 5:7 - “Cast all your cares because he loves you.”
God will never assign you an Overload.
God points to the Peaceful Attitude of Suffering people to teach others about himself.
Suffering is assured; yet, even in suffering the sovereignty of God prevails.
God is able to bring meaning into even the worst situations of suffering.
Suffering seems to follow obedience to God, displaying the passion of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Peter 5:10-11 - “10)And the God of all Grace who called you to his eternal Glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.11)to him be the power forever and ever. Amen”

Spiritual and Personal Growth | Boundaries | Day 16/40 |
In this place I am peace.
In this place I am light.
In this place I am Joy.
In this place I am Love.
In this place I am a divine idea in the Mind of God, Sharing the peace, Light and Love of God.
In this place I give.
In this place I share.
In this place I serve.
In this place I give, I share, I Serve to the Glory and Goodness of gOD.
In this place I am a Vessel.
A vessel of Peace, Light, Joy, and Love, giving and Sharing the Divine ideas of God.
My task is easy. My burden is Light.
When it is not, I am not in my Place.
And so it is!
Let me remember . . . . .
BOUNDARIES allow me to take care of myself.
BOUNDARIES enable others to take care of themselves.
BOUNDARIES create the freedom of choice.
To give, share, or support need not mean taking care of.
I can say no and still give love and support.
BOUNDARIES keep me in my divine, right space.

Trusting God with Every Breath | March 19 | Day 16/40 | Psalm 63:1 |
Psalm 63:1 - “You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.”
Surrendering to God is up to us. Our Choice. Yes, we must face some potentially hard things but that’s how God heals us.
When you think about the alternative, surrendering to God is relatively easy.
Rely completely on the one who holds every answer to every question known to man.
The author of our life. The creator of all things. Or simply rely on worldly wisdom, some of it well meaning. But then we’re using our own strength and wisdom.
And we’re human capacity to think of all the details in our lives.
I know I cannot possibly orchestrate my life and have peace and happiness following me around But if I give everything over to God, who does know all things, I can rest knowing he’s got this.
He’s got my back. Not only that, but he’s also studied me and filled the details of my life with blessings.
He plans my future for good and surprises me with many daily “wows.”
And he’s waiting to do just the same for you.
Peace or angst?
Clean heart or one full of debris? Resting in God’s future plans or anxiously worrying about them?
I choose God. How about you?
Have you invited God to clean out your heart? Is the absence of peace worth keeping control of everything.

Fireproof Love Dare | Day 16/40 | Proverbs 19:9 | Intimacy |
Proverbs 19:9 - “He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.”
Today’s Dare | Determine to guard your mate’s secrets (unless they are dangerous to them or to you)
And Pray for them. Talk with your spouse/Friend/God and resolve to demonstrate love in spite of these issues.
Really listen to them when they share personal thoughts and struggles with you.
Make them feel safe.
